Dear Trinity Community,
We are happy to announce a new resource for Trinity faculty and parents in the 2016-2017 Academic Year. Mrs. Peg Renz joins our staff as a Volunteer Resource Consultant. Peg is a Catholic psychotherapist with Christian Life Counseling, LLC. Beginning this year she will serve our community by offering various workshops to our faculty, high school students, and parents. She will also be a resource for parents and teachers to address questions on child / young adult emotional issues and offer solid resources for further parental and staff support. Mrs. Renz has offered an overview of possible workshop topics, included with this letter. Please provide your feedback here on possible topics for a Parent Resource presentation.
Mrs. Renz, M.S., LPC-IT, earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with training in school counseling. As a psychotherapist Peg uses a strength-based, cognitive-behavioral approach to help children, adolescents, and adults work through concerns such as handling anxiety, developing disciplined habits, and building better interpersonal relationships at different age levels.
Peg encourages those she works with to continue to develop into the person God has called them to be by utilizing the strengths He has given them. As a Resource Consultant at Trinity Academy, Peg will utilize her professional knowledge and awareness of resources to offer expertise in this area. Peg will be available to parents or faculty at Trinity in the upstairs LS Conference Room on Tuesday mornings from 8:30a.m-9:30a.m. These hours can be used as drop-in or by appointment. She is not on staff as a student counselor, but can provide resources, as needed to parents and faculty.
We welcome Peg in this volunteer role, and we hope that this added resource for parents and faculty continues to strengthen our community in our vital mission to educate youth.
